2008 Summer Hockey Sessions
Skills & Drills: 8 weekly, one-hour sessions of routine drills designed to improve on basic skills and learn advanced skills. Emphasis on stick and puck handling, passing, shooting and skating skills. This class will also incorporate a high level of conditioning through the fast pace of the drills. For all ages and abilities but should have completed one season of initiation hockey or higher. Full hockey gear and USA Hockey membership required. Cost: $95, Tuesdays at 6:30 July 8 through August 26th. Space is limited.
Cross-Ice League: Fun games of 3-on-3 scrimmaging on cross ice surface. The emphasis of this session will be on positioning, puck control and passing. Teams will be chosen in a draft style system in order to balance out the level of abilities across all teams. Intended to be a low pressure time to enjoy hockey and develop new game skills. Eight weekly, one hour sessions. For all ages and abilities but must have completed one season of initiation hockey or higher. Full hockey gear and USA Hockey membership required. Cost: $95, Thursdays at 6:30 July 10 through August 28. Space is limited
