Lamoille Area Hockey Association

 2008-2009 season

The Lamoille Area Hockey Association (LAHA) was formed approximately three years ago by a group of dedicated volunteers who wanted to develop a youth hockey program for all the children of the greater Lamoille County area. This year we will have our second season of teams on the ice as the Lamoille Lightning.

The mission of the Lamoille Area Hockey Association is:

To promote the growth of ice hockey in the Lamoille County region by providing a safe, supervised environment where children will learn, through positive guidance, basic hockey skills, knowledge of the game and a  positive teamwork attitude  in order for them to develop a love for the sport that makes the game rewarding and to be able to offer all of this at an affordable cost to all families in the Lamoille County region.

We are writing to you now to request your support for this program. We have over 50 kids involved and have more who would like to participate, however the cost of equipment and team fees are prohibiting their participation. If you are in a position to be able to make a donation which we can use to sponsor a player or purchase equipment, we would greatly appreciate it. We would ask that you strongly consider contributing to our program for the benefit of the youth in our area.
